Another 'Tina' table - note the slightly different dimensions (my fault since
I took dimensions from Tina's original piece). I used a miter saw for these
pieces and getting the angles was a snap - so easy in fact that I was able
to build 3 tables in the same amount of time that the original was built.
I were to build more, I would not use maple for the blond portions - instead
I would use ash. The maple is just too figured to avoid tear outs. I managed
by using a Lie-Nielsen low angle plane and a lot of patience but it was still
tough -though the surface ends up mirror smooth if you tools are sharp.
